Change mine in Oct. when I put them away for the winter months so it's clean while stored away. I also change the antifreeze at the same time, for the extra $15.00 it helps keep my cooling system...

Had my 79 radio rebuilt, but added a plug to hook in my ipod. If you plan on listen to the radio or CD's alot than yes swap it out, but a good new system will be alot more than $100 bucks :cheers:
