OK, no takers on this one. I maybe can answer my own question - I'm thinking of just lopping off the elbow of the base to give me enough room for a hose.....

Hello all

i have a 65 into which I put a 383 some time ago. It has a Holly carb with the choke tower removed and a drop down air cleaner base to help it breath and fit under the small block hood....

Maybe the flasher is dying. I think this would give voltage at the lamp socket, but not allow current to flow. Maybe there is just enough difference in the other side that it works there.

The rear lights work fine. Small filament comes on with parking lights and large filament with brakes and turn signal - just no flash.

I soldered some wires onto the bulb...
