Many years ago on my 68 GTO I got the clock working by just running a small file over the points that reset the spring. I suppose they get corroded over time.

I have a late year 77. Want to touch up the engine a bit. Is the correct color Chevrolet blue or corporate blue. Got a can of Chevrolet blue & appears darker than what is on it now. Thanks in advance.

I agree, I owned a 13 GT & installed the GT500 mufflers & loved them. No drone at all realitivley quiet cruising & came to life at WOT. I too have wondered how they would sound behind a chevrolet V8

I have flowmasters on mine which in the future I plan on replacing with a stock type muffler. Reason being is they sound ok, but I get some drone in the lower rpm ranges, which I do not like.
