If you are going to modify it more get a D44...

If you are going to modify it more get a D44 which is in a standard shift car. If all you are doing is gears stick with the D36 that you have. Don't skimp on headers.

I rented just a regular puller when I did my cam change. Everything off the front of the block and it was no problem to remove.

I had the 3.54 in the D36 then bought a D44 with 3.73. I would not attempt the install. In hindsight I should have bought the D44 at the start.

2.59 to 3.07 is not really a big change. I went to 3.54 and it's a night and day difference. It will put a big smile on your face and have the pro's set up the job.
