I had the dash replaced on my 2015 Z06 back in July of 2017 because the leather was pealing off around the defrost vent. It was under warranty at the time.
When I took the car in because the A/C...

Two things:

1. I think a shroud mod is simpler than cutting big holes in the front of the car.

2. I'm certain the thermostat is wide open when the coolant in the right tank is 211 degrees.

The reason I put the oil cooler in the hot tank

On my drive in to work on Monday morning it was 39 degrees. My oil temperature got to 184 degrees...perfect. If I had put the oil cooler in the cold tank, the oil temperature would have stayed...

It looks like a bolt but it's only a 10-32 pan head screw, 3/16" diameter ... very little mass. The friction from the o-ring seems to keep it tight. I've already driven 3000 miles or so this way. ...

Easy Intercooler reservoir bleed

As long as I had the front off to mod the cooling system, I also made it easy to bleed the intercooler reservoir tank. First I modified a 10-32 pan head screw by drilling through its center line. ...

I looked at GM's design for the front baffle. The bottom few inches of the radiator got little flow and flow to the top half is badly restricted.

In GM's design, the top 4" of the radiator do...
