Re: *spring* type hose clamps (tp85)

The spring type clamps are much better to use, you can always be sure the correct tension is on the hose. the dealer is the only place I know to get them.

Re: Alternater or battery problem? (LeadFoot)

The battery is a three year old DieHard and reads about 12V with the car off. I have been suspecting the alternater, but it has only been 8 month's since I replaced it. The 84-91 C4's seem to eat...

Re: frisbee revisited (dt35th)

The frisbee isn't the problem. It was put there as a load dampener when the ac clutch engages until it was later found to be useless. That is according to C4 guru gordon Killebrew. I hope your...

Re: Automatic transmission service (PoloGrnC4)

The only thing I can add is that a transmission mechanic advised me not to have the reverse transmission flush done. It can cause problems if the fluid and filter have not been changed often.

Re: Is the "torque converter lockup delay harness" any good? (tim87)

Re: I think my vette is haunted!! (dmalhi1)

Sorry Davin, but there is not nearly enough current in the radio connecters at low volume to 'start a fire'. It would not be wise to connect the wires to the radio with power on because it could...
