There is definitely a difference between the two.
Bright Red is more like fire engine red.
Torch Red has a orange hue to it.

This might be the low coolant sensor wire...

This might be the low coolant sensor wire harness.
If so, it plugs in somewhere on the bottom of the radiator surge tank.
I found this in the 1993 manual (6B-14).

Only the Anniversary Editions had white interior. White exterior/White Interior.
And yes, it had a white steering wheel.

I actually had a chance to purchased one of them back in 2002.
I wish I would have.
It had 6k miles on it and they wanted $45k for it.
