No I haven't noticed how much the RPM's drop, but it's very significant as the car just hangs until I let off the gas a bit. Then it will shift.

I should have mentioned that this just started after I found out my vacuum advance can was bad and replaced it. Timing is set to 12 degrees base and it's at 31 degrees with the vacuum advance...
