Agreed on the alignment, with removing this stuff & replacing I wasn't thinking I'd get away with marking parts where they sit now.

Do you mean at the 2 bushings where it connects to the frame and the link because they are horizontal to loads? What about poly on the strut assembly ends?

I am just trying to replace existing rubber suspension (some are crackled) with new original stock. Would prefer to keep rubber, but would consider something that is an improvement if not too...

Is there a specific spot to view a diagram of the internal vacuum hoses? My '78 has similar issues. I have no vacuum at the heater hose valve under the hood. So I am working backwards.
