you might want to reconsider which springs to use. the big block springs will actually lower the front of your car. they are shorter and stiffer.

is the other guy's insurance paying for it? 18k might not be as over priced as it sounds. a new front end is going to cost like 4,000 , then you need bumper, grill, bumper mounting brackets, etc......

check the timing, make sure it isn't running lean, the lower chin spoiler is a must, make sure the guage is actually reading correctly, and the radiator seals will help some too
