Want to upgrade from Z51 to Z06 but....

I really can't move away from Le Mans Blue.

I looked at the new colors, and I just really want to stick with Le Mans Blue.

So I'm stuck buying a used one

Any reason to get a 07 vs an 06?...

I had a 2001 SMG M3, great car....

Loved it. But nothing like my 06 Z51.

The M3 is a normal BMW will some amazing modifications to make it a very nice car

The vette is a purpose built sports car plane and simple. Night and day....

This is really getting to me....

What does anyone ever hit this? First gear is TALL, with tones of torque. Enjoy first and you won't ever see the dumb 1-4 issue.

Historical impact of HP increase....

Am I correct to expect a fairly large price impact on the resale value of 05/06/07 400hp vettes with the new LS3 engine coming out?

Not that one should worry too much about such things, flying...

In my family...

and in hers it appears there is some unspoken rule I didn't know about that basically states that both parents should be able to pick up a kid with a car seat at the drop of a hat. And to say "oh she...

I really don't see the issue with this....

You have 400lbs and 400horses. Why are you ever shifting under 4k? Hell, wait till 5k, sounds even better.

I never even see it, I just never shift with the rpms that low

Get the Vette!!!!!

I had

2001 S4
2002 SMG M3
2004 R32
2006 Z51 Vette

Needless to say I have a short attention span. After the first year I normally start getting bored, after 3 I'm done.

After one year...

Good to be a Vette owner....

So I'm pitching to this rather large group in the bay area last friday. I thought it went well. Actually had a good time, they are good guys.

I send a follow up email covering a few points. Get a...

This has NOTHING to do with our vettes design or....

or quality. It's a simple matter of supply and demand.

They make TOO MANY corvettes. Like 20k a year or something insane like that.

Last 3 cars I had were from production runs of about 6k,...

It's honestly very simple....

They just make too many of them. They sell a LOT of vettes each year. My last three cars had runs of only 8000, 6000, and 2000. I think they make 10k or more per year. That is a lot of cars. For some...

Thoughts on moving from Z51 to Z06....

What is the used Z06 market normally like (based on corvette history and of course once it settles down from the current frenzy)? Do they hold value? Are owners "typically" responsible and mindful of...

This is the first car I have ever gotten where I was sorry I leased it.

I just LOVE my car. Even my friends comment how I won't shut up about it. I usually get a new car every 3 years. I've had some very cars, and feel quite lucky for doing so. I love my Z51 10x more...

My roof no worky....

6000 miles, 06. Was fine till I parked in 100F weather for a few hours.

It hasn't flown off yet, but I can hear wind coming, and can get my finger in there, so it's about to go.

Dealership...

Once she hit about 50lbs that had to stop. Now shes 75lbs and still thinks she's a lap dog =)
