No it has an inner driveshaft that turns freely and has bearings at both ends . I does bolt to the rearend. It is definity some kind of driveshaft.

I'm a fan of high volumn oil pumps. I like to see 40-50 pounds hot idling. I also like seeing 60 hot running down the road.
It bothers me to see 15-20 at idle even if it is enough.

I have the 7 degree taper reamer and just reamed mine out for a good fit. The reamer is not cheap, over $100 but I used it alot for fixing the bump steer.
