Why buy a Z51 if you are changing oem pads for less capable pads? Might as well run 87 octane too. Then you can then go slower and have less stopping power. :hide:

Z51 pads work as designed. Very good pad for use on the track with factory tires. They also work well on the street. The dust is expected with this type of pad.

I've done maybe 15 launches using launch control and have not done any burnouts or track days on these tires. Fronts and rears are at 5 mm.

Backing up on ramps will get more oil out since the drain plug is in the front. It will take 8 qts instead of 7.5 qts if drained on a hoist.

Guy in my area is running Kumho Viper ACR tires 295 19 front and 355 19 rear on custom rims with no rubbing and they do not stick out. He believes that 315 would also fit on the front.
