You will have to drill two very small holes...

You will have to drill two very small holes (3/32) adjacent the leading edge of the valance. They would not be visible if the plate is removed.
It’s made of .090 aluminum

I’d do it if it wasn’t so darn expensive. Hard to justify the cost to prevent tiny chips that no one will see or notice anyway. And there’s always dr color chip.
