1966 Carb

That is a Holley spread bore carb. It is an aftermarket replacement for the Q-Jet. It was never installed from the factory on anything.

Dash Filler

The part you are looking for is a sheet metal formed filler. It was used to adapt the 1963 column bracket to the 1964 dash which has a larger opening at the bottom for the column to fit thru.

The 770 head has different external casting markers. I se you are looking for 772 castings. I believe they are for passenger cars with the 2 bbl carb.

Yes, "O" part numbers were for the proto type parts. Some early production cars may even be seen with the "O" part number castings that made into production.
