temp senders for 79

I changed the heads on my 79 l-82, the sender hole on new heads is 3/8 pipe, i bought a replacement sender and had to install in intake , now my reading is way off ,has anyone else had this problem...

Beware of cheap oilpans ,you get what you pay for . Stick with the GM pan. that is one place you do not want an oilleak. Milidon makes a good pan if you want to do away with the windage tray,
