Crazy,

Any special tools needed for the install? And/or would you have a list of tools that you use for this job? My tools are in the basement, the box won't fit in the garage - getting too lazy...

$53 dollars for what?

Local dealer wanted $53 for a small tube of "Official" Chevrolet silicone to lube the top and door rubber. Do I need it or can another product work just as well?

2005 C6 Convertible Top Question

My 2005 C6 convertible top feels like cloth, is it for sure? I want to purchase a top protectant. The owners manual mentions a vinyl top cleaner but nothing about a protectant - vinyl or cloth.

It happened to me too. Here's a tip that worked for me - speed shift a couple of times to seat the clutch. - Smooth as silk now!

Convertible Top Marks – do these look normal to you? These appeared after storing the top during short trips and do not go away. In the garage I always keep the top up.
