The fusible links will be connected to a main terminal that attaches to the fuse box. This one terminal feeds all the fuse in that box. It should be easy to find. You will be looking for an "open"...

Yep, that's the most time consuming part of the job,crud cleaning....same when replacing a WP, takes 10 minutes to get the pump off and forever scraping the old gasket material off the block...

You may want to check your blower motor resistor if it is non-electronic.
