I'm putting an intake back on my 98 Chevy Tahoe. I need to know what the torque is supposed to be set to and what is the bolt torque pattern. Thanks alot. :cheers:

1/4 to 1/3 turn should do it. There is no way you could get 1 full turn like the books say, something would probably break. :cheers:

Hey Doug. I have already checked the buttons and contacts and they were working alright. The contact for the single ground wire under the steering wheel looked good too. The security light blinks on...

The motor will probably not idle right if you adjust 1/2 turn past zero lash. I could only get maybe 1/3 of a turn past zero lash. Do yourself a favor and go buy a set of clips to put on the rockers...

Check the gasket in the overflow tank cap. If it isn't sealed it won't flow back into the system.

The copper contacts in the starter solenoid are bad. You can open the solenoid and make some more contacts if you have access to some copper peices. I fixed mine for $10. I would say I am 99% sure...
