Depending how strong the the exhaust smell is the c5 1998 vette that I have has a secondary air pump that does fail but your check engine light would have lit up.. You can get a good wiff seating...

Thanks to all that responded.. Needed a new horn bladder behind the steering wheel air bang and new horns.. Those torx bolts holding the air bag to the steering wheel are very very hard to remove.....

Lose a spare ignition key for my c5(1998) coupe.. Is the dealership my only recourse for the replacement.. The key has a small metal chip bulit in to it that I assume is a dealer related item.....
