The 6th digit in the SN is always the best way to tell.
0=70
1=71
2=72

According to the NCRS judging guide 4th edition, the alarm switch with the “Brigs and Stratton” key was used “to about s/n 11,000” after that the one with the GM key was used.

I would have to say that out of all the used Corvette I've looked at over the years that about 30-40% were frankenvettes. I might add the owners claimed they were all factory original also. :willy:
