Also three speeds put an emphasis on wide power (HP) bands and correct gearing. More torque down low is more HP down low as well.

FPC in itself is not a factor in the Torque. Look at other 5-5.5l NA V8s for a comparison.
Mercedes M273 5.5l 382 HP / 392 ft-lb
Ford 5.0L V8 Coyote 460 HP / 420 ft-lb

The torque is quite high....

So a calculated 418 ft-lb at 8600 rpm is pretty stout. If the 460 at 6300 is correct then having 550 HP is a pretty sweet power curve.
