Each motor has a ground wire that is connected to the metal case of the motor with a short screw and a star washer. They will not run without the ground.

The trim tag was made (D13) at least 10 months before the vin tag on that car. One or the other didn't come on that car.

I thought the "s" plus the vin # stamp was used on the transmission. I would check the transmission stamp. Its possible they mixed up the stamps.
