Like the mounting to right of A/C controls. How well does the Garmin receive satellite signals that low in car... do you need additional antenna?

UPDATE: Found a short in the wiring under dash...

UPDATE: Found a short in the wiring under dash that runs to driverside door, had to stand on my head under the steering wheel to repair it.

BTW: All ground connections looked good.
