I looked at 2 different 96 vettes today on a car lot. Both were 60,000+ cars.
One had a tinted top that was crazed so bad...

I just happen to have a nice, low miles vert for sale, with hardtop, priced the same as many coupes.

The driveability is fine. I dont remember the exact rpm, but I have made several trips in the 200-300 mile range (one way) and had no concerns cruising at 70-75. The 3.73s are KILLER around town...

For the record, the wheels and tires total $3500, and have about 6000 miles on them, with perfect wear.

The PE catback is another $1200, and the converter is around $600 or $700.
