The tach reads too high....The idle is normal...

The tach reads too high....The idle is normal while tach reads between 18-2000r. When I get on it the tach passes 8000 r and hits the stop while there's still hard pull.

The tach on my 91 reads exceptionally high...2200 at idle
and pegs out quickly. This started to happen a few months ago.

I put a 3" BB On my 91. Was less than 1k from Mid America. Was an easy swap and made a difference. The stock 91 seems to be more restrictive
than the newer ones and the bb with resonator is fine...

Have a steady drip at the front of the block.. am sure its a water pump.
