WTB 65-66 project

Looking for bigblock ragtop possibly sans motor & tranny. I can handle major body work, so no prob there. Will do frame up resto.

Can anyone tell me why the fan blades on my 71 small block are not evenly spread apart? two of em are closer together than the remaining three. Doesn't seem logical to me, but I am ee, not me so......

Yea Scott, I think they're the ones. I'll give em a good amount of torque then. And do you remember if there were any lockwashers? I don't think so.

I pulled spindle (with steering widget and brake backing plate) assembly apart to clean and paint.

Can't find the assy drawing in the manual. So what's the torque on the 2 big bolts that holds...

There was a magnus opus here on rebuilding lower control arms. Mine are apart and sand-blasted, and painted and ready to put back together. Do I hammer bushings back in, or need a press?

Awile back 1-2mos Somebody posted that they had a prob starting when hot. Not the usual slow cranking prob, but nothing, no click, no nothing.
