Re: Top Speed? (1 Hot C4)

Had my 94 up to 143, with the targa top off. It was stable, my nerves got unstable and I slowed down. It takes a long time to slow down from high speeds, you need to leave yourself plenty of room.

Re: Clutch Question ?? (soapy)

That does not sound right, my clutch seems to engage at around the same point all the time. You should still be under warranty, so I would take it in.

Re: is kelly blue book value a way off? (kwd1)

I have been wondering the same thing. But the explanation I have is different that some of the others have stated.

I found that Edmunds listed lower prices than KBB. I researched it for a while...

Why So Few Verts?

Is it just me, or are there very few verts for sale here? I look almost every day, and there rarely are any posted.

I want a red 6-speed!

315's on Front

I saw something today I thought I would never see. A red 93 (I think) was in a parking lot, with real wide tires. I looked closely and found it had 315's all the way around.

I did not think...

Re: New Guy (Cobain)

Welcome to the "family". It sounds like your parents brought you up right. Hopefully, they let you drive theirs.

Good luck finding the vette you want! You will not regret it.

Re: [Your style?] ASR OFF.... ASR ON... (Patrick96LT4)

Usually on, unless I want to spin the back tires.

I figure with ASR checking wheel motion 20 times a second (or whatever it does) I am safer. I am not that quick.

Re: F45 Electronic Real Time Damping - Worth it (96LT4)

96LT4,

Do you mean you can't tell the difference between you cars and others that do not have the F45?

Since you live in Georgia, I am assuming you have the chance to drive some of the mountain...

F45 Electronic Real Time Damping - Worth it

I am searching for a 96 and want your opinions.

Is the F45 option worth holding out for? I've never driven in one with it, so I do not know exactly what it does. I live in Florida, where most...

Re: The Grand Sport convertible has arrived!!! (96LT4)

Ok, it took me a minute to figure out that one. That is a great deal.

What is your recommendation for getting a good buy? Just shop until you get one, keep your emotions out of it?

Since I...

Re: The Grand Sport convertible has arrived!!! (96LT4)

Congrats, looks fantastic.

So, what did you pay and how much did it cost to get it from CA to GA?

Re: Buying a C4 (Idreamofvettes)

Yea, I'd say the price is about 5K too high. 49,000 is a lot of miles and the car is 8 years old.

I've got a 94, and they are great, but you do not want to overpay.

Re: finished my wheels...take a look (Yanni88)

Nice work. Sometimes it is the subtle things that make a vette stand out.
