I would definitely go with a D44 .The 3.73 ring gear has no where near enough meat with that many teeth!! If you stayed with 3.07's I think you'd get some mileage out of them.. :yesnod:

If your running street tires you will be ok. If you run drag radials or slicks you could run into trouble quick especially with a 3600 rpm converter. I make 305 rwhp and run a vigilante 3100...

I run 12.30 with a 211/219 Lingenfelter cam. Modified engine. If you run a 150 shot of nos (and drag radials) you will run 12's.Don't know how many runs you'll get before you break the ring lands on...

I run a 3100rpm Vigilante(very streetable) and my 60's are 1.70's, on BFG DR's. My 1/8 times are 7.80@88mph. I don't know if you will see 7.70's with just a converter. Good luck :) :)
