SMOG is for vehicle registration. Visitors don't require a SMOG check.

Just make sure you have your out of state DL, registration and insurance and you will be fine.

They are hard to seat. I little lube on the threads can help. I use the brass washers when I swap filters so they don't have to be so tight.

The issue with the DP is the tube for PCV. I had to modifie mine to fit. I squished it in a vise. It's not pretty but you don't see it.
Maybe cutting it and adding fittings to your valve covers...

They make a dye you can add to the oil that uses a black light. Clean the mess up and see if you can find were it's coming from.

I understand the frustration but we know it doesn't impact performance like the shorties will....

Mine doses not move like that. It's mounted solid to the rack.

Take it apart and verify they installed it correctly. Check the phasing of the U-joints as well.
