The guy who built my headers said don't bother with gaskets and just recommends silicon sealer. Been doing it that way and never a leak or problem.

I have a Richmond 4+1 in my 69, same transmission as your Nash, and the stock speedo cable works fine with mine. Not sure if 68 is different though. You will need a speedometer gear.
