paint

maaco has different grades of paint jobs. The cheapest they use generic paint which from my experience does dull and no amount of waxing helps. You want a better paint then you will pay more to them...

I have flowmaster 40's on my 89 which it came with and I really wouldn't buy them again. There is way to much resonation in the car and the car sounds more like a dang truck cruising down the road....

What is your oil pressure reading? I would think if bearings were bad you would be showing very low oil pressure especially when engine is hot.

I just bought a partial block from Gm and yes it was made in Mexico and yes it has different numbers as it was not made for any specific car therefore no numbers resembling a car serial number.
