paint

maaco has different grades of paint jobs. The cheapest they use generic paint which from my experience does dull and no amount of waxing helps. You want a better paint then you will pay more to them...

I have flowmaster 40's on my 89 which it came with and I really wouldn't buy them again. There is way to much resonation in the car and the car sounds more like a dang truck cruising down the road....

the cheapest paint job is cheap work. All they do is scuff the old paint and shoot it. the more expensive jobs they actually use a primer. Also the cheapy job uses really cheap paint which will fade...

What is your oil pressure reading? I would think if bearings were bad you would be showing very low oil pressure especially when engine is hot.
