I had the same problem...

Swapped the switches and the problem moved. Cleaned the contacts and it was OK for a couple of days.

Spent 32.00 on two new switches and replaced them both. No more problem.

I saw a post awhile back about putting some foam stirps between the wheel well plastic and the body to prevent dirt/debris form getting into a void then leaking out. Not sure if I am stating this...
