How do you get reservoirs off MC?

Any suggestions ? It looks like I can't get them off without tearing the rubber up.

Brake pedal went to the floor!

I hope we are talking about the same part, yours might be different than my 85, but yes it's metal. When I got all the parts for mine they asked if I wanted nylon or metal.

I just got off the phone with Jeff Kopp and there is no Oil filter adapter gasket for the 85. The adapter just bolts to the block and the only gasket that is needed is the rubber O-ring that goes on...
