Will there be another Z06?

For the 2009 model line, do you think there will be another Z06 or some other model between the base Corvette and the $100K ZR1?

1970 vs 1971 LT1 Engine

Other than the compression ratio what were the differences between the 1970 and 1971 LT1 Engine? If I remember the listed hp was 370 vs 330.

Clutch Suggestion

One of my friends needs to replace the clutch on his mildly modified (head, cam, headers) '92 ZRI. What is the best clutch setup? Some folks say Centerforce, while others are saying stick with GM...

Re: Mid Year Rear End Assembly (toddalin)

I did a little research and I plan to add the following, but I'm open for additional input.
1. Heavy duty side yokes
2. 3 inch half axles
3. Solid U-joints
4. Heavy duty rear end cover
5. 90/10...

Mid Year Rear End Assembly

I realize one of the weakest links in launching a mid-year from the starting line is the rear end assembly (half shafts, side yokes, U-joints, T-arms, etc. I don't want to look in my rear view mirror...

502 in a C2

Does anyone have knowledge of someone putting a crate 502/502 in a mid year. I am planning on pulling my 427/425 to refresh it and thought I might have some fun before putting the 427 back in. As...

Re: Any one tried calling Zip lately to order parts? (andy63)

I've never had anything but a good experience when using Zip. Probably just a bad day and short handed.

Re: Leaking Problem With My 66 (Revette)

I personally think they all leak. My 66 drops water from the exact same spot as you mentioned, before and after I had the windshield installed.

Re: Hi all, I'm new to the forum. To start, I've 1 burning Q for C2 coupe Owners (Baxter)

I too am a big block, side pipe, coupe owner. During the real hot months of summer it truly becomes a labor of love to pull the big boy out. Hot air through the window, hot air coming through the...

Re: Drag Strip Results are in! (I_HATE_Mustangs)

With some respectable gears I would think this boy should run in the mid to low 11's. I had thought about pulling my 427 out and having some fun with the 502/502 setup, but I was hoping for better...

Re: What size BFG drag radials will fit on a 1966 ? (StrayDog)

Don't know about BFG, but the Mickey Thompson/ET 26x10.5 /15 on 8 inch rims should fit. You may need a spacer for the disc brakes. But, as stated in another post, you better beef up that rear, or...

Re: Should I get a C1 or C2? (Captain Kirk)

I'm a big block 66 owner, so I supposed I'm a little partial to the C2 Vettes. However, I do appreciate the look of the C1 especially the 58-62 years. Styling aside, if you plan to do a great deal of...

Re: (66 SC'ED VETTE) Rebuilding Rear End

Last year I swapped my 3:08 pumpkin for a 4:11 pumpkin, so I appreciate the pain in going through the process. You mentioned that you were sending your rear end to Vette Parts in Florida for a...

Headers for a side pipe big block

Has anyone actually installed headers on a side pipe big block mid year. I've heard that Heddman makes a side pipe header, but when I called them they could not provide any references. Would...
