I have had drilled rotors on my sprinter and the FF and FC and have never had problems with them... Now all three of these are under 1500 lbs. I will also admit that I do like the looks of them but...

Drilled Rotors

Since I am going to rebuild my front end I might as well put on drilled rotors. I was thinking of using the aluminum hat and steel rotors.. Anyone have any problems with this set up and what vendor...

Replacing Tie Rods

Any one replace their Tie Rods with hemi joints and some chromally? I know that I would have to drill out the steering link to use a bolt. Any comments, suggestions?

I am no expert but I would check your pressure with a different guage to eliminating that the guage is in error. There are two pressure valves, one in the pump and one in the oil filter mounting...

Thanks for the link, I used the ARP lube when I put the engine together. No I have replaced a crank without removing the engine (Never do that again) but I have never replaced the main bearings this...

I found all kind of interesting things when I got under the car this evening. Little shiny flakes in the filter... Not alot but more than what I wanted to see.

2.5 maybe 3gts of oil drained...

Looks like I am pulling the pan this weekend. My machine shop also stated that it could be the bypass on the filter or the pump.. Now to add more to the story, just ran it up easy to about 100 and...

Checked the oil last night... Little above the line.. Orginal dipstick and I change my own oil so the amount is correct. Did discover a small leak at the oil connector and corrected it but no change...

Just started today.. Cold the pressure is around 60. As the engine get warms its 30 - 35.. Now driving down the road (3000) the pressure drops to 20+. Lift the throttle slightly (drop down to 2500)...

Yep, on the double pumper.. Apperently I have a one track mind,,, :conehead . I guess I was so damn happy that I got the Air/Fuel mixture right, I forgot about checking Power valve and Acc....
