1978 Spare tire question

What spare tire size will fit on the rim for the factory spare for a 78? Is the original spare temporary tire a 190/85-15? Would a 195/50-15 work?

You can remove the dash pad and use Gorilla glue...

You can remove the dash pad and use Gorilla glue to glue the vinyl edges back down. I scraped out some of the degraded foam before I glued it. I found that the original Gorilla glue worked the best....

I can't see any gaps where the races seat. I'll check them again. I agree that if the spacer/shim old vs. new is the same dimension, you would think that it would have the same slop and not .003"...

it is a 65 and the middle knob to the steering wheel controls the drivers vent. This the one I need. I broke the mount.
