I知 installing sound deadening material throughout the in interior of my 17 ZO6.

i致e see a couple YouTubes of sound deadening of the hood and wheel wells on other cars

I値l be changing the air filter in my 17 ZO6 and have read somewhere that when I disconnect the MAF sensor it will cause a check engine light and throw a code UNLESS I disconnect the battery negative...

I want to quiet down my Z06 for cruising so I know that I need to add dampening material .
But where to start for the maximum impact? Rear Deck? doors? front floor? Wheel wells?

Rubber vs metal mounts?

By all means use rubber mounts. I made this change on my 71 and it made a huge difference in ride quality
