Bradenton, Fla. PRO STOCK TESTING ALL DAY
 

Well nothing to do today so me and a friend went to Bradenton drag strip all day to watch the first day of test and tune this week. 6 pro stock, 1 pro mod, 1 pro street, 1 super charged firebird, 1 dragster, No buddy special=JEGS in there new Dodge Stratus,Dave connley with DA GRUMP,V- Gaines (also Dodge), and Erica Endress driving JOHNS OLD caviler. Well Endress went 6.69 at 207.95mph.(that GIRL can drive ) , V- Gaines went 6.67 at 206.95, (and that was with a .975 60 foot :thumbs: WOW.Connley went 6.69 at 207.21, Jegs left good with a .980 60 foot but had engine trouble ,Glidden said it was not there good motor? :eek: . The two I.H.R.A. pro cars rocked everyone. Breners mustang went 6.40 at 213 mph and change :cool: and that was with a 4.12 eigth mile ET . Weather was 60 degrees,no rain,31 feet above sea level and alot of sunshine. :D Pro Mod car was Ashleys Gothom City car but he could not get down the track.Bradenton has alot of bite in the track so EDGAR,MACKEY,BOB,MOJO,CARMEN,DENNIS,PAUL ,BOWERY,MITCHEL, come on down to test,we will be at the track SUNDAY for run day sunday to test and tune , :cheers: :rofl:

Emily & Jeff are meeting a group of them at Folks ranch for poker.

WOW ! If she can get a good car under her, she may be knocking off some of the TOP DOGS :)

You have any idea what kind of lights shes cutting? I know they (the team) are not interested in her lights just yet.. but to run those #s are awesome...

She was killer on the lights as well. We got to sit right on the starting line and watch every ET slip come out of the printer, and her best pass was a 4.12 light. I kept the sceond copy of everyones runs . if i can figure how to post them i will

Was the supercharged Firebird from Hardcore Motor Sports? I heard they were going down to try and beat the ls1 Boosted record :flag:

Fuzzy they are going to be testing on friday , and there is no charge to get in. GREG ANDERSON was going to be there today to start testing thru friday. And the hardcore firebird was there , beautiful car, He only made one desent pass on tuesdaY. He ran 8.61 at 154 mph. car sounded like it layed down a little on top end. around JAN . 8 they invade BRADENTON again for a week and there will be twice as many. :cheers:

Erica rolled the car today, she's ok but the car isn't so good

A friend of mine called me from the track...she lost it and rolled at about the 1000' mark...the owner was at the starting line and said "that's NOT what I am looking for"...the rear end swung to the right, she got out of it, corrected, and then it swung to the left and rolled...

Jeggy finally got one pass to completion...ran a 7.75....Greg Anderson had a 6.69 on one pass...V. Gaines had to be pushed back off the line 3 times in a row...Emily Lewis was there hangin' with Dave Connelly's GF...

Erica has the potential to make a name this coming season....I feel for her, but she will get through it and be better & wiser. Emily had the same thing happen last year. :thumbs:

Oh, Emily won the poker tournament last night $350....beat Jeggy, Connolly, and the rest!!! :cheers:

My buddy told me an older guy, dressed very well, was at the starting line and was pissed when she rolled...he thought it was the owner by his comment...

Probably her father.....he stays close to her. She already has the other car down and is running that.
