homemade ramps
I've noticed in a few posts made recently that people are using home-made ramps and lifts. How many of you are doing this? pics?

Made with 2x12 outdoor wood.

Jughead, why not add a stop towards the end of your ramp there just in case you go a bit too far ;) Do those get an annual termite inspection :jester:

I made some like Jughead's, but with the requisite stops. If you have an '80-'82, or aftermarket airdam, be sure the bottom board is long enough to provide adequate lift/clearance over the rest of the boards.

I used the plans above but I used 2x12's instead of 10' just made me feel better not seeing any tire overhang and I added a brace under the ramps.

Get a kwiklift
www.kwiklift.com I have had mine for years. Could NOT live without it Plus, a friend of mine bought one of their new light duty lifts, only about $800 |
Mine are just like Jughead's, but I screwed a piece of 2x2 on the end as a wheel-stop.
