'Dying chicken sound' from steering wheel
 
Anyone have a fix for the dying chicken noise?

No offense, but that techtip is useless. Anybody have ANY idea where the heck that picture is? :confused:

Mine does this sometimes too, it is a "Creaking Noise" like something is rubbing.

That tech tip IS useless :D

Remove L/F wheel, and remove small access panel at rear of wheel well. Look for rubber boot where column comes through firewall. Boot slightly rubbing on steering column is usually what's making the noise. Mine was. HTH

What did you do, just spray it with silicone spray?
