2004 Power Tour
 

It is announced at the message board on http://www.hotrod.com Power Tour 2004 will run Ft. Worth, Tx to Green Bay, Wis.

If it runs before the end of July 2004 (or after the first week in August), I'm on it.

Looks like a great route. I've done a couple of them before and had a blast. May be goin Power Tourin this summer. :hurray: :cool: :party:

i bet you can tell i will be there from my sig. i also already have two other vettes going with me. one is a bb 1966 the other is a 02 or 03 z06. we will have several other vettes going with us as well. the only hard part is which vette to take :smash:

i will be starting a running thread in the events forum in a few days.

I was on the 2001 run from IL to CA down route 66. What were you driving?

on the 2001 tour i was driving my 2000 pewter trans am with about 7 or 8 other f-body LS1s i think we were all ram air but one camaro. all other tours have been in my 76 vette. in 99 i made hot rod mag several times with it (luck shots) i heard im on the cd several times from the last one but i have not seen it yet. this banner is off of hotrod.com from this years tour. all the vettes in the picture are forum members. my car is the one behind the yellow (XTrooper) one

The F body i ejoyed most was a Colorado state Trooper car with blue light bar and radar gun - that led the way for me to downtown Burbank at 85mph.

We ran in the center lane of the expressway - watching the lane open before us - like Moses was driving.
