I bought the "New" Rain-X car wax and tried it on the........
Vette   I put it on the colored hard top and the rear quarters  Man-O-Man this stuff is SLICK! It so slick a spider can't walk on it
Truth is, the product is a spray on and wipe off...don't poo-poo it yet....I think I'm begining to like it. It rubs in well and comes off with out alot of hard work. Its easy to put on a "wet or dry" surface and it really puts a very nice deep shine on you paint. It's thick and a little goe's a looooooong way :yesnod: So far I like its deep shine and the way it goes on and comes off :yesnod: plus there is no powdery white "after dust" floating around. It beads water like crazy! :yesnod: Nice BIG water drops that fall off very, very easy IE I think it will keep the water spotting way down. I'll let you know more about that after the next rain storm. I'll keep everyone posted as I use this product for the next few months :yesnod: . This just might be a good product to use over a good base coat of Carnuba wax  Larry :steering: http://www.rainx.com/product_pages/a...to_fastwax.jpg |

Is it like their polymer wax, or is this just a "quick shine" product? (like the Z6 gloss enahancer). I'm curious as to whether is is supposed to last like a polymer coating, or just for short term shine.
Thanks for posting. |
