Black Corvette Red interior
 

I will have to repaint my car now, and my interior is just wasted so I'll have to change up all that. But I was thinking maybe it would be better if I kept the red interior just got a few replacement parts, and painter the outside black. It would have to color themes then Red interior red tail lights and maybe some red color under the hood, and a black exterior and a black dash and some other parts that came black from the factory. Does anyone have any pics of a Black Corvette with red interior?

Not many black/torch red interiors on the C-4. I get plenty of compliments! Sorry, no pic's. :(

I dont know, I was thinking it might match up. b/c the tail lights are red, red interior and some red painted parts under the hood. Cars black, some interior parts are black like dash and console plates. Orange and black would be more like a trick-o-treat car :lol:

I almost bought an 86 Black/red Vette. And it had red Grandsport fender stripes to match the interior...looked awesome...

My '84 just repainted black....has carmine red interior...looks :cool: :cool:
So why change the stock colors??????

I agree 96LT4, Black/Red is stunning. Actually I wanted a black/red car since I was about 12 years old. First on a truck, then as I grew a little wiser, I knew it would have to be a Corvette.

First it was an original Black/Red Corvette, but then the previous owner painted it Red, so now that I have gotten the Car keyed twice by some punk that cant say it to my face :mad . I'm only going to be driving it very little now, maybe 2 or 3 times a week. Anyway I think I'll paint it Black, I haev to paint it anyways now.

But are there different shades of black? LIke black with pearl in it? Or sparkels? Or light black and dark black, which one should I go with?

Oh and I plan on buying some new rims also, would 17inch Chrome ZR-1 rims look good or would polished alum look even better? Thanks for the replys :yesnod:

How much does it cost to paint the car a different color? And how long does it take? :confused:

Anywhere from 3 to 9k.

Around 5 would be the average.
