Edelbrock Carb Users! How Did You Hook Up The Linkage?

I bought an Edelbrock carb (#1406), electric choke. Also, I'm using an Edelbrock Performer intake. Can you tell me how you hooked up the throttle, cruise, and kickdown? Did you buy the bracket they sell? Did you need a return spring? Was it simple?

I'm feeling pretty stupid right now. I hear the Edelbrock just bolts up and goes, but I'm having some issues. I expected the carb to come with some installation instructions, but it only comes with tuning instructions. They give their consumers, in my case anyway, way too much credit.

So any help you guys can offer, is greatly appreciated. :yesnod:

Im in the same situation, wish I had some answers for you. But can you tell me what fuel pump did you use and how did you hook up the fuel lines to the inlet side of the pump and the line punning from the outlet side of the pump to the carb. If you have pics please post.

Since posting, I've found some good information. Edelbrock's site has some detailed instructions. I would have appreciated having this info inside the carb box, but because it's directed towards our application (somewhat), it would be tough to forsee this need.

As far as the fuel line goes, below is a link to Lar's paper on how to build a fuel line for a C3. This is what I'm using. I was told you can buy the outlet for the fuel pump at any autoparts store. But I have yet to try that.

Any photos posted, would really help!

I'll try and get some pics tonite for you. I have the 1405 (manual choke). I did have to use a banjo fitting so that the fuel line could clear the drop base air cleaner.
