Edelbrock fuel pump install on a 76?

whats up I just got some parts in the mail and Iam looking at this edelbrock fuel pump(1721)I got.It only has a 3/8 inlet for a line coming in and a line going to my carb My stock fuel pump has two rubber hoses going in and a fuel line going to my carb? I'am sure I'am not the only one to install this fuel pump to a 76, 350ci so does anybody know the way to change this over? What size fuel lines or fittings or anything else will I have to buy?I hate making 30 trips to the parts store and trying to guess what sizes and just what I really need.(everybody knows your on your own when you go to the stores)Any help with this would be awesome Thanks.Carver SLO RDE (76 L-48 vette)

One line is a fuel return line. I believe you can just plug it, if you want to.

I just replaced my pump with a stock unit. Why did you go with the Edelbrock?

The vapor return line can be plugged, but it's possible to have vapor lock problems with this setup. I have the same pump except for a BB and haven't had any problems as of yet. Are you still using the quadrajet? If so i was able to run braided line with it and the proper AN fittings to give it a profesional look but it did take a few trips to the speed shop. If you have any specific questions let me know.

I have a 72. I don't recall the part # of my Edelbrock pump, but it's the "street" pump. To fit the fuel lines I had to use the underside adaptor which costs extra. Both fittings are 3/8 90 degree. The line to the carb is routed to a Holley fuel pressure regulator. One outlet of the regulator is plumbed to the fuel return to tank line.

Where did you find the fuel pressure regulator? I may wind up having to get one. I ordered one fuel pump and got a slightly different one that may have too much pressure, 7 psi, I think.

Where did you find the fuel pressure regulator?
Summit catalog. A Holley #803 or 804. It's the 4 1/2 to 9 lb regulator. Sells for around $20. I have it set for 5 1/2 lbs which is about the max an Edelbrock carb likes.
