Nitrovette is right, 1962 was the first year for the 327.

the thing is that he insisted that it was 1965 and i said it was sooner and that i "thought" it was 63 but i wasnt sure... LOL

62 is correct. Other facts about the 327 were they never had 4 bolt mains in the 327. They could be made but none left the factory. Also I think 22 were cast in aluminum but never made it to production. Warping problems if I remember correctly.
