'75 TR6, off the showroom floor. Paid $5K (CDN), at the time a new Vette was around $9 to $10K as I recall. It was underpowered, but a great driver none the less. It looked just like this one:

1980 Dodge Aspen coupe, ordered when I was 30.
Slant six, 4 speed, no power options. I'd probably still have it except the body disintegrated. Should have paid a few dollars more and got the '80 Malibu. |

No offense but that is one ugly car. :ack:
 In February (I think) of 1970 my wife said we needed a family car so I traded the '64 vert for a new '70 1/2 Z28 Camaro. Hey, it had a back seat! :D |
'65 GTO, 3-deuces, 4-speed, posi, electronic ignition. Only non-performance option was a console, but compensated the weight with the sound delete option. Yeah, the doors sounded a little wimpy when closing, but it ran 13's bone stock. Mid 12's a bit later.
It was one of about 20 I wished I still had, but glad to be rid of about 40 others that I hated.:D |
Never had a new vehicle. I let others take the initial hit.

2005 escalade ext loved that truck put 86k miles on in one year lol

Had a 2003 SRT4. Bought new in Jan 2003. Flame Red Neon 4DR. With the Dodge "Stage 2 w/toys" it front wheel dyno'd 270 HP and 300Pounds Torque. Traded it for my '05 C6.
I had an AGP WGA, Greddy Type-S BOV, ED Hard Pipes, 180 t-stat, eBay fabricated FMIC and 3" DP with cutout. Added an electronic switch to the cutout and lowered the car a smidge to keep the ass from sticking up in the air like they did from the factory. Total cost about $800 in modifications. Put down 275rwhp/320rwtq. Here was me toying around with it back in the day. Couple second gear roll into WOT pulls. |
Don't laugh now, a 1972 Chevrolet Vega GT. That's the last time I ever put any stock in the Motor Trend Car of the Year. I would pull into a gas station, and tell them to fill it up and check the gas. :)

First new car, in late 1971, a 1972 Gran Torino Sport, 429 cu. in.
|
2002 TR/MR Z06 and was the youngest new Corvette buyer ever at that Chevy dealership. I'm on my third Corvette now and will probably always have one in the stable.
