Door lock gasket location - '73
 

Got my door locks to actually lock and unlock the doors last night.

Question. Does the lock gasket go on the inside or outside of the door? (Neither of mine has the gasket and the diagrams leave me confused. I assume on the outside since the handle gasket "looks" like it is on the outside.

PS, I wish my hands were smaller. Dang its tight in there!

Lock gaskets go on the outside, between the lock cylinder and the paint.

I guess that explains why the paint is banged up there too! Thanks.
