I'll go first..

I've got Cyber Grey which I am in the process of blacking out. Her name: Elvira

named after the queen of darkness herself! I felt it was fitting :-)

No. I'll just be honest with you. I think it's silly. It's not a person, it's a thing. A person gets hurt. A car just gets repaired.

I don't call things by names. My lawnmower is not Charlie, my blender is not Cherry, and my Corvette is not some chick's name.

"El Ray"

"Red headed Stepchild" because I'm going to beat on it like one.

The banshee because her wails keep drawing me to her and I know she'll be the death of me

In Connecticut they offer a vanity plate that reads "Preserve the Sound" so it all seemed to work

She's been 'Lola' from day one

Along with the car, I had ordered the 'Build' album and mentioned on the phone call to the museum her name would be Lola. On October 7th, I got an email from the museum of three teaser shots referring to Lola. When the album arrived her name was actually mentioned twice in the script describing the various stages of the build so it's a special album indeed .

Lola and I will be leaving tomorrow morning for the Bash so she'll be back where she came from for a few days. 7800 + wonderful miles so far.

Ha! That's awesome. My wife's car's named Lola... My C6 Z-06 was Christine, like as in the movie Christine. I think I was owned by that car, I felt sinister in her! My Laguna Blue C7 is just lovingly named Bonnie Blue. It just works. :-)

 You didn't name your blender? Wow.

Snakiller 04-22-2014 10:27 AM

Haha. No nickname - it's a car! I call it the 'Vette.

millpond 04-22-2014 10:35 AM

Well going on 36yrs of marriage this year, I called mine "The Mistress" and my wife says it's ok as she knows where I am. Also having the Arctic White, the personal plate says GRR8 WHT, so I guess you could say either for mine.

Mike Campbell 04-22-2014 04:52 PM

Well, I told my wife and then we ordered a vanity plate so we'll call our new Vette....because it's white....."LYTNG"!!! I know, we're :crazy2:
